I grabbed a couple pictures of the Yogo 3 11" and I don't think it has keyboard backlighting, but I can't say for certain. The press release doesn't say anything either, unfortunately.
No one seems to mention that Lenovo also brought back the traditional Caps Lock key on the X1 Carbon. This is significant for the large number of users that remap Caps Lock to an extra Control key, just as God intended.
There was no caps lock key in a previous model? Who the hell designed that? Obviously not someone who'd actually buy it. I can't even understand the logic of that.
In the future please check vertical viewing angles on laptops you physically get to handle and let us know if they appear to be IPS displays. With a 5 second angle check that can usually be determined with pretty good accuracy. And really for many of us that's the most important part of any mobile device.
For all the talk about Intel's webcam technology, I still don't see a real use case that sells it. And unless Intel is willing to eat the cost so it costs no more than a regular webcam, I don't think it's going to take off only in select laptops, all on the high end.
Kinda reminds me fingerprint scanners and other mostly ignored "innovations."

Damn thought it was too good to be true. Now if only someone would combine the new Dell XPS 13 design with the hinge of the 3 11 Yoga.....old-style - Wednesday, January 7, 2015 - link

Almost everything we've seen is IPS. Only the most budget seem to have TN. We're almost to the point where this doesn't need to be a question anymore. Also many of the displays have been IGZO which is great since it almost certainly means a RGB stripe.

They should partner with Amazon for some sorta Firefly-esque functionality... Maybe two flops can make a splash.
