With the wifi cams, is the special sauce for the 3x range in the camera, their router, or both? IF both, do you need both to see any increase in range, or would connecting one of their cameras to a standard router still have longer than normal range?
I guess it depends on whether the average range of mainstream IP cameras is limited by just the cameras, or both the router and cameras. I'm leaning towards the cameras alone, otherwise this claim would be a bit risky.
Generally users can easily change entire admin, password, and username with this default ip address. The 192.168.0.l. is a specific private ip address and it never allows any external access so it pretty helpful for users. They just need to enter this private ip address on web browser and certainly users can do some important settings changes for modems and other routers.

Maybe Secret sauce is as simple as sticking a decent external antenna on the camera and limiting bandwidth needed by making it 720p instead of 1080?nicholaskeen - Monday, September 5, 2016 - link
